About Yeschaton
Back in 1998, during a lecture series with Terence McKenna, I asked a friend what the appropriate attitude toward the Eschaton should be. He replied, “Yes.”
From that basic idea - and starting with that core group of intrepid seminarians, Yeschaton was born. From 1998 - 2007 it lived life soley as a mailing list. Any of the members could post anything they found a significant new development in the sciences, though mostly I did the posting.
Now that it’s 2007, and RSS readers and blogs have become familiar aspects of electronic culture, it’s time to move Yeschaton wholly online. It’s my hope that this new format will allow for more communication, participation and knowledge creation.
Good luck!
